At PPi, we offer full in-house design services, creating drawings, renderings and flythroughs for your event ranging from a small meeting to a large convention. So, please allow us to serve you from the origins of your project through to completion and wrap up. Formed in 2004, PPi is a unique and innovative working partnership bringing together “front of the house” and “back of the house,” with the principals bringing to the table their experience in client relationships and service, and technical excellence.

Andrew McDonald – Managing Partner/SalesAndrew McDonald, G.R.S.M. (Hons.), L.R.A.M.Andrew’s career began as a musician in London, England. After graduating from The Royal Academy of Music with teaching, academic and performing arts degrees, he spent ten years performing around the world with the finest orchestras and ensembles including The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra His first job was as an Entertainment Consultant with a small entertainment agency in Atlanta. In 1995, he was then recruited to a larger company, and over nine years developed the production business at an Atlanta production house, becoming Vice-President of Sales. In 2004, Andrew made another bold move and left his position to start a new production company. Andrew is now owner and Managing Partner of PPi, a full service production company serving corporate clients in audio-visual, lighting and staging support. Andrew’s clients include Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, and his reputation for creative and technically sound production solutions allows him the opportunity to travel nationwide while building his company with a solid, client-driven business philosophy. Adam Smith – Partner/Technical Director Adam’s career began in the Mississippi Air National Guard. After initial active duty training, Adam specialized in electronics and advanced electronic troubleshooting to become a Communication and Navigation Systems Maintenance Technician. After his time in the Mississippi Air National Guard, Adam moved to Atlanta to pursue a career as a percussionist (something he and Andrew both have in common), but he quickly found the world of production allowing him to utilize his considerable technical skills. After a period working as an independent contractor in the capacity as an electrical foreman for a technical installation company, Adam was hired by a local full service production company and became head of the Video Department. Adam brings to the partnership his tremendous technical ability and a rapport with clients rarely found in the technical side of the industry. Adam is responsible for all the technical, logistical and operational aspects of the company, as well as engineering on key, high profile elements of business. Geoff Clapp - Sales Geoff Clapp earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications. After working in several fields in marketing, promotions, project management and entertainment booking, he moved from south Florida to join PPi in August of 2005. Geoff has built an outstanding reputation for customer service and delivery in Event Production Sales, handling most of the key strategic partnership accounts in the Atlanta market and developing new direct clients in new markets and industries. As one of PPi’s first hires, Geoff’s commitment to the organization and his clients has remained strong throughout, and that commitment is proven through his successful and repeated client interactions. Geoffrey Platt – Design Services Since completing John Abbott College’s (Quebec, Canada) Professional Technical Theatre and Design Program in 1998, Geoffrey has held progressively more responsible and technically challenging lighting, scenic design and directorial positions. From June of 1998 through February of 2001, he was with The Montreal Young Company, St. George’s School of Montreal and The Centaur Theatre. Geoffrey developed his skills through varied assignments as theatre lighting designer, scenic designer and touring technical director with the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts (Montreal), John Abbott College, McGill University and Bishop’s University. Before moving to Atlanta in 2004, Geoffrey served as Senior Lighting Director and Scenic Designer with Partech Lighting Systems, Inc. Partech recognized his depth of talent through his highly successful and noteworthy work with Club Med Resorts and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines from March of 2001 through April of 2003. Geoffrey has served clients throughout the United States and Canada in his roles as Designer, Scenic Designer and Technical Director for several production/audio-visual companies and is now the Design Services Division of PPi in the Orlando office. He has been proud to design such high profile events as The Ex Awards, The NASCAR Busch Series Awards Banquet televised on TNT, and The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Banquet televised on Speed. Claudia Brummel – Business Services Claudia Brummel joined the PPi team in January of 2008 as the company’s Business Services Manager. Her impressive background features many years of experience including Director of Operations, Office Manager, Financial Director, and Human Resources Manager in the corporate, academic and private sectors. Claudia is experienced in all aspects of business management, compliances and requirements, analysis, creating design and implementation of new systems, and providing customer support while effectively communicating with outside vendors and clients. Claudia has brought her skills to PPi and is a huge asset to the organization, bringing the high service ethics and performance expectations to our Business Services Department. Jason Coleman – Warehouse Operations Jason Coleman is a rare breed of an Atlanta native! He entered the production business like others at PPi with a background in the music industry as a guitarist and bassist, but more recently working as a DJ, MC and vocalist (well known in the Atlanta scene as “Race One!”). Once in the production business, Jason worked as an audio, video and lighting technician, based not only in the local Atlanta market, but also in other states including Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas and California. Jason was one of the original employees at PPi in the company’s infancy and is a vital and valued member of the PPi team. He is responsible for all aspects of warehouse management including preparation of the equipment and logistics for each event, alongside maintaining PPi’s extensive inventory. History

Our partnership with these venues offers seamless service to the client featuring meeting Audio-Visual services as well as lighting design, staging and production when needed.
